People First, Then Money, Then Things

If you’ve ever watched Suze Orman’s show, you know this is her motto. People are the most important thing. Money and things are nothing if you don’t have people to share it with. In these worsening economic times, we need to remember this. As Christmas draws near we should concentrate more on spending time with our family and friends than with giving the perfect gift. People don’t remember the gifts they get, but they certainly remember the traditions their families had.

    I love that motto. It is important to know that people come first when you have money and when you don’t have money.
