Gus Advice: Eat Like a King if you Live with Basic Income

Ok, so these harsh times we have to make certain sacrifices as the economy doesn’t lend us to spend as we used to do. I have heard people are making extreme sacrifices to pay their bills, even by cutting off their favorite meals or buying in places where the food is promoted as less expensive, i.e. Wal-Mart, I want to say that Wal-Mart sells more expensive food and other family basket products than your regular supermarket, but still people seem to be tempted by the idea that Wal-Mart is cheap. Wrong, Wal-Mart can be cheap for a lot of things but in terms of food products is more expensive than any other place, compare prices and you will see.
One time I went to Wal-Mart to do my weekly market, I spent more than I spent in Publix or Winn-Dixie, to be exact 100 dollars more, I ended with a US$200.00 market rather than the US$89.00 that I spend in Publix, and I didn’t find the variety of products that I see in Publix, like my favorite juice or sodas. I saw less in Wal-Mart than in Publix, before you do your groceries think well and remember that television can exaggerate the message, and the real savings to your finances will not come from a store that promotes everything cheap, it will come from a store that knows what to sell and how to sell it.
